The property was recently purchased by a local business man in early 2022 who was keen that the iconic venue did not lose its charm. It’s been lovingly refurbished with the addition of a beautiful cocktail lounge.

After waiting 6 months for our first AA inspection, october was D day when our inspector arrived for lunch and dined off our exclusive set menu. On paying the bill we were made aware that she was our AA inspector. Our feedback was superb, and the highest accalade achievable is 2 rosettes on your first inspection. We are hoping to increase this to the coveted 3 rosettes this year.
